Deep tissue and myofascial release is used within our Physiotherapy sessions to release adhesions within the muscular and fascial systems which may aid in;

  • Improving range of movement and function of joints
  • Enhancing athletic performance
  • Used in ample doses during our extended treatment times to maximise effectiveness
  • All of our therapists are regularly trained in myofascial release techniques
  • Techniques may include, active release techniques, fascial release and gliding, trigger point release, muscle belly and tendinous junction release and frictions

  • Hip Flexor muscle group- hip and lower back pain and movement
  • Calf and hamstring muscle groups- lower limb range and flexibility

  • Neck- neck and shoulder movement, headaches and tension
  • Forearm and chest- golfers and tennis elbow
